WHAT'S NEW AT NWEEC?

• We have outlined a series of organizational goals, to be completed over a five year period, encompassing many aspects of environmental action. These strategic priorities include:
  • Reducing human impacts on climate change
  • The preservation and restoration of regional biodiversity
  • Resource conservation


• Our office is expanding as our organization continues to grow. We have 9 Americorps members serving as Environmental Education Coordinators and 8 other full time employees. Learn more in the About Us page.  


• Backcountry Explorations: Summer Backpacking Camp for High School Students - We are planning a series of Summer backpacking trips for local high school students. If you are interested please contact Jenny Konway. More information can be found here!
